P4

The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 is important because it gives disabled individuals equal rights. It protects men, women, boys and girls from possible discrimination. Discrimination is when people are treated differently due to their gender, sex, race, disability or ethnicity. It has been made unlawful for people and employers to discriminate.
