I would not want to to swithch places with Stanley Yelnats because he has kind of a bad life and hes always in the wrong place at the wrong time. He also has to go to a desert and dig holes for what he did. The reson I say all of these reasons is because Stanley Yelnats always is in the wrong place at the wrong time.He has to go to a work camp in the middle of the desert where it is super hot. Stanly Yelnats is a person who is at the wrong place at the wrong time and his family is the same way because of a curse that was put on his family from a lady that his grandpa made a deal with and now he cant get lucky worth of nothing. Stanly is also the type of guy looking to get out of doing his work digging holes so every little treasure he finds he shows the boss. Stanley has to go to a work camp because he gets blamed for stealing shoes which he never did. At the work camp he meets a quiet kid name Zero who cant read at all and Stanly teaches him how to read.

The reason he has to go to a workcamp because he gets blamed for stealing shoes. Another reason I chose was because he is the middle of the desert digging holes. They work from sun up to sun down which would be really boring to me.Also he has to watch out for these yellow spotted lizards which could kill him with one bite. He also gets blamed for stealing shoes when he never did it was someother person that stole the shoes and he finds out at camp that it was his friend Zero and it turns out they were from Stanlys favorite player Mr.Sweet feet. In the end of the book he does get lucky but you will have to read the book to find out how he gets lucky and if he gets to go home or not.

In conclusion, even though he does get lucky I wouldnt want to switch places with Stanly Yelnats because he doesnt have any good luck at all but towards the end of the book it changes. He gets blamed for stealing shoes. He has to go to the desert where it is super hot and...
