Part I: Situation Analysis

Personal and professional development is an essential part of becoming a successful business owner or generally being on top of any career path that you may choose. With the personal and professional development plan there comes a personal marketing plan. With the conclusion of this course, I have gained essential knowledge on marketing development and the necessary skills to be proficient in the marketing department. If I was to consider myself as a product I would be able to evaluate myself based off the “five Cs”. “Situation analysis is the process of identifying various facets of your business to better gauge its current position” (Winn, 2012).

The company I would be marketing is myself, Chardae Sledge. This company is looking to further her knowledge in the marketing field and also land a solid career as a Marketing V.P. of a very prestigious company. The products this company is selling is experience, knowledge, willingness to learn and adapt in any environment. The position this company has in the marketplace is a generated sense of knowledge and experience with internships and also working experience that will put the company above some of the other companies in the marketplace. We have a name for ourselves and our brand has been established and known with several other companies. The collaborators that we will work with is past professors, the knowledge gained from school, my family and also my mentors. With these collaborators I will have a strong support system and also team to push me and guide me in the right direction. The current partners that I am working with now is mentors and knowledge gained from graduate school courses.
