• Each employee must clock in and out with their timecard on each respective day, at the beginning of their shift, and at the end of their shift; also clocking in and out for the required one hour lunch break.

• Clocking in more than five (5) minutes before the scheduled start of the shift is not permitted, unless written notification is obtained prior by the General Manager – and therefore any time clocked in before the scheduled start of a shift will not be compensated.

• Clocking out more than five (5) minutes after the scheduled end of the shift is not permitted, unless written notification is obtained prior by the General Manager – and therefore any time clocked in after the scheduled end of a shift will not be compensated.

• Any time an employee clocks in past the start time of their shift – the time will be rounded up to the nearest quarter hour and compensation will be deducted in 15 minute increments. For example, if the shift starts at 8:00am and an employee clocks in at 8:06am, the time on payroll will reflect an 8:15am start time and therefore, 15 minutes will be deducted from that hour.

• If an employee forgets to clock in or out during their scheduled time, a one time waiver will be granted per calendar month – at which time the time card must be filled in and initialed by the General Manager within two hours of the scheduled start time. If an employee consistently forgets to clock in or out, disciplinary measures will be taken and a written warning will be issued to the employee. The calendar month begins on the first day of the month and ends the last day of the month.

• At no such time shall an employee call in ahead of time and have another employee clock them in or out if they know they are going to be late, or forgot to punch in. Should this occur, any and all employees involved will be terminated immediately.
