Ever since her mother disappeared, Lauren has questioned how this happened. From one day to the next she was gone without a trace. This has made her relationship with her father even stronger. Being a high school student is never easy, which is why her father suggested they take a trip to the mountains this weekend. Get away from the city and relax. “Dad I’m so glad we took this trip, I really needed to unwind,” said Lauren. As they are driving alongside the mountains, a nearby car approaches them all of a sudden and crashes head on. The car spins out of control and falls down onto the trees. The sound of metal being crushed and windows breaking surrounded them both. Once the car finally stops moving it lands against some trees. Lauren’s eyes can barely keep open, she feels her body aching all over and notices her dad is lying there motionless. “Dad?” is the only word she can utter, until her eyes fully close.

Awaken, and finally comfortable Lauren finds herself in a grey room. No decorations or windows anywhere, just a light above and a bed, to which she is tied down to. “Sweetheart, that was quite a tumble you took.” Said a female voice. Startled she tries to move but the straps are too strong. “Where am I? What am I doing here?” shrieks Lauren. She notices the women is wearing a nurse uniform and there is some leftover medical equipment in a small metal table near her. “I know this is difficult to hear, but your father died in the accident. The country has instructed us to care for you, until you are mentally well and can go back to your home, well when you become of age.”

Lauren begins to scream and move her body forcefully, but this does no good, she is strapped down. The nurse calls for some doctors to come in and calm her down. In a matter of second two large men, whose faces can barely be seen due to surgical masks inject her with some liquid until she feels numb and passes out.
