To begin with, we are strived for not having religions in the workforce/ mixing religion and economics. Religion may be defined as a system of shared beliefs and rituals that are concerned with the realm of the sacred. (Hill, page 103)

The religions-oriented workplace will result some negative impact for the reason of religions cause rifts between employees, as they won’t get along. There are diversity religions in the world, therefore people have different religions are reformatted differently. It is hard for these people to have the same point of view and get along with each other. Especially, if there are some conflict exists between two people that belong to two different religions. For example, “the fighting between Hindus and Muslims is due only to ignorance of the true self and the understanding of common father. If we understand this principle there will be no fighting among humanity.” (Das, page1).When religions are allowed to workforce, aggressive people may want to persuade the other. More than that, different religions may fight with each other. Although we are allowing the diversity among workplace in order to achieve a success business, we want to avoid religions fighting. This factor may break the harmony in workplace, which are considered an important factor in a success business.

Someone may argue that have religions in workplace lower the cost since manager won’t need to arrange training for their employees. However, if we keep the religion in workplace, we need to consider the production of diversity employees. It is hard to manage when people require different treatment based on their religions. In addition, it will cause some unfair opportunity to all employees if bosses also have their own beliefs. From the perspective of humanity, people will interact better with others that have the same interests. Therefore, mangers will hire/fire/promote people of their own religion.
