A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsel to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts (Washington Irving). A mother is a woman who has raised a child, given birth to a child, and/or supplied the egg which in union with a sperm grew into a child. The parental attitude of mothers toward children, their love, affections and care play e critical role in the personality development.

From its days as the salt center of Manila to its bright present as a rapidly urbanizing residential-commercial center, Las Piñas has indeed come a long way. Known nationwide for its bamboo organ, salt beds, and jeepney factories, Las Piñas is distinguished as one Metro Manila’s fastest-growing communities. Continued economic growth, coupled with effective local governance, have earned Las Piñas the distinction of being Metro Manila’s cleanest and most peaceful city for three years straight.

One of the great things that a person can do is to help other person, by giving them food to survive one meal a day. It is not actually giving them food but in broader sense, it is giving them opportunity to work to provide for their own needs. It is about teaching them how to fish and not giving those fish. Each individual has their own dedication in life in different ways, and one of those is to help others in a simple way, helping not only one but more people at a time.

The potential for economic growth and poverty reduction is promoting opportunity to poor people to create and compensate their potentials in their field of interest. Facilitating empowerment and implementations that are responsive to the needs of the people and removing the barriers that result from distinction of social status.
