Entrepreneurship is an important topic for industrialized as well as developing countries, as it is the driving force behind economic growth and rejuvenation all around the world. The fact that more and more academics, students and government officials are interested in this topic is shown in the increasing number of publications on the subject, the large number of university courses and seminars, the number of start-ups each year and the extensive coverage by the media. Also at Maastricht University, more and more students of the School of Business and Economics hope to launch their own business one day.
