Demonstrative Communication

Demonstrative communication is a tool that is used on a daily basis business and personal. This process is commonly used when sending and receiving messages. Verbal and nonverbal are demonstrative communication. Tone, gestures and the surrounding environment are connected to demonstrative communication.

Facial expressions can demonstrate whether a message is positive or negative. When sending a message a negative attitude can be detected instantly causing conflict or a message not to be received in the proper manner. It is always important to demonstrate positive facial expression.

Non verbal communication consists of body language. Something as simple as the way a person dress or hair or posture can determine a positive or negative connection in the communicating process. Eye contact is also essential when communicating. If someone is sending or receiving a message and the person cannot look directly into a person eyes without looking to the side or down it immediately sends an ineffective message.

It is important that a message is received so that it is understood not misconstrued. When communicating in the form of writing, a smear on the paper can lead to an ineffective message. If communicating by phone or email setting the appropriate tone is important for a message to be effective. Something as simple as a cough or loud noise can affect a message.

There are four types of communication verbal, non verbal, written and visual communication. Verbal communication requires face –to-face communication. When communicating verbally body language, tone, eye contact, appearance and a positive attitude are important to the effectiveness of a message.

Non-Verbal communication involves body language as well as facial expressions there are no exchange of words. Writing letters and sending emails are another form of...
