Panic Room is a 2002 American thriller film directed by David Fincher and written by David Koepp. The film stars Jodie Foster and Kristen Stewart as a mother and daughter whose new home is invaded by burglars, played by Forest Whitaker, Jared Leto, and Dwight Yoakam. Jodi Foster is starring in a Fincher thriller, called the Panic Room as a character named Meg Altman. To tell a little bit about herself, she has been recently divorced, and has a daughter Sarah who is played by Kristen Stewart, she has a significant amount of money that was received from her ex husband, with that she bought a house near Manhattan, which was built by a millionaire. The house itself has hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings , a high security security system and of course a Panic Room. For some people that dont know and for the their protection, a panic room is a security room, that was designed for a last minute hiding place in case of a robbery. On their first night in the house, the mother and daughter put the panic to the test, when robbers break into the house to steal money that was hidden in the house by the other owner. Jodie Foster is very good at playing a mother who was literally backed up against the wall. Throughout the movie and slowly tell us that Meg was mentally handicapped and very claustophobic, but I believe she handled the reaction to danger very quickly and intense, expecially it actually showed us how a claustrophobic deals with being confined and trapped in a small space not because she wanted to but she had no choice.
