FX ANALYST SUMMARY

This report summarizes the trading experiences of three novice forex analyst; Mark Guynn, Richard Latimer and Alicia Voss. For the most part, none of us had prior experience trading the currency market; however, trading analyst Guynn had vast experience traveling the globe and thus exposure to many different currencies and cultures. Trading analyst Latimer has had experience with options trading and tried leveraging that experience in the forex arena. Trading Analyst Voss had little experience in the trading arena yet posted profitable trades throughout her tenure as an analyst trading the Yen. As a team we posted a realized profit for the trading period of $911.91. That is a .91% return over the trading period of September 5, 2014, through October 3, 2014. There were three trades initiated on the first day of trading by analysts Guynn and Voss. The fourth trade was initiated on Thursday October 2nd, by analyst Latimer. There were a few simple rules agreed upon at the outset for trading the account: 1) Any analyst could initiate a trade in the account on any currency pair. Collectively we settled on trading the EUR/USD and USD/JPY. Analysts were asked to leave enough margin in the account for the other analyst to trade. 2) Any analyst could close any trade. 3) Any trade that was initiated or closed had to be backed up with a reason for the trade either by technical or fundamental...
