With all organizations, ethics and compliance should play a major factor in the achievements of the organization. Ethics is an excellent tool for building trust within an organization.

In this paper, the team will examine the ethics and compliance of the Pepsi-Cola Company or as it is known today PepsiCo. We have obtained the organization’s annual report and Securities and Exchange (SEC) filings for the past two years so that we may examine and analyze the data addressing ethical issues along with the role of the ethics and compliance used within the company. PepsiCo’s description of procedures ensures that ethical behavior will be adhered.

The team will identify the process that PepsiCo uses to comply with the regulations that the Securities and Exchange (SEC) has set. The team will also evaluate the organization’s financial performance for the past two years along with the financial health of the organization.

Business Ethics are an extremely important piece of any organizations business plan. The business society has created a strong ethical culture. The Pepsi Company has taken several steps to ensure that each of its employee’s follow the company’s ethical and moral beliefs.

The cornerstone of the organizations strong ethical compliance is their code of conduct. They created this code to govern all employees on ethical issues and help guide their decisions on a day-to-day business. The Pepsi Company expects all of its employees and subsidiaries across the globe to abide by the code of conduct regardless of the situation presented.

The Pepsi Company created an internal team to answer any questions. This team is also responsible for investigations. This is another key procedure the organization uses to ensure everyone is ethically compliant.
