1 INTRODUCTION

The development of society goes together with the development of companies. According to Mullins (2006, 345), the enterprise is an organ of society and the actions of a company have a decisive impact on the social scene. More than just focusing on making profits, companies also pay attention to contributing values of human beings in order for them to get a more sustainable development based on the support of customers and community. In other words, companies play a very important role in many aspects of society: from innovating technology and solving problems to giving a greater quality of life and bringing ethic to our community. In this essay, we are going to take a closer look at the following ideas on how companies distribute values to society.
