Every day, organizations are faced with competition from others and with the never-
ending evolution of technology and products. As society evolves and the wants and needs of
society progresses, organizations must be able to keep up with those demands if they want to
have a chance to succeed. Many times, the organizations will need to research the demands of
society and what is going on in the market. To stay competitive, they have to know what is going
on with society and what is going on with their competition. To be successful, they have to keep
an eye on the competition and do their best to keep up with them. Quality should never be
reduced, but staying in line with competition will help to keep the organization in line with
others. The smartest business plan will always know what is going on around them at all times
and will be able to build from that.
The coffee industry is a well-received industry within the United States. Coffee seems to
be a breakfast staple as many purchase coffee on their way to work or make it at home when they
wake up in the morning. As society evolves and people’s lives become more fast-paced and
busy, coffee has become a more popular staple that is now consumed at any time of day or night.
Many times, consumers are able to find their popular coffee brands at any number of stores such
as gas stations and supermarkets. There are two various options for these stores. The first is that
a franchise will open up inside another shop to give customers the convenience of having their
favorite coffee in a central location. The second is a small, self-serve kiosk that allows customers
to put together their own coffee and drinks.
