SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Library is the best place in the school where the students review and study. It is the best place where students study so our group aims to improve the manual operation of the library system. We thought of something that makes the time of students and library personnel decreases for searching and borrowing of books.

The main goal of the study is to herd benefits of the students and school personnel, to proper delegation of work to the personnel and easy-access through this process. This system will help us to be aware and familiar to the fast growing technologies.

EDUCATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE

This system will serve as a guide to proper dissemination of information regarding Library System. In addition, it serves as future reference for researchers that will undergo studies about Library System.

To create a system like the computerized library system which is very helpful in improving our skill in creating programs that will also help make the work of others more efficient. It also gives them knowledge on higher technology in this fast changing world.

ECONOMICAL SIGNIFICANCE

With the help of proposed system, libraries can now eliminate the need for the library cards because recording all borrowing transactions can be inputted directly on the system. Removing library cards will lessen library expenses. The propose system will make file recording faster and easier. Therefore, time can also be saved and used on other matters.

Technological significance

The proposed library system has standardized fields for information about library materials. All of these tools have been used to provide more access to information. Libraries had large cabinets called card catalogs but now card catalogs have been replaced by computerized catalogs. Thanks to advance technology. The students even not a computer courses will be familiarize in computers and became aware on how to use the proposed system.
