As an undergraduate student of Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, I received rigorous education and training in accounting and finance. Especially after taking a few accounting and finance major courses, I have become extremely interested in those two field and have decided to start my professional career as an accountant in a global company. Over a longer term, I want to be a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a global company after accumulating resourceful experience and achievements. CFO is the highest position overseeing the financial activities of an entire company. I’m not satisfied to be an employee only but to be a manager who can make big decisions and lead a company to be stronger. I hoped to get along well with people from different countries and understand different cultures, so I strongly preferred to work in a company with a global scope started with my college years in the USA. To achieve my long-term goal, getting the master degree in accounting is not enough, passing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam is a good way to prove my professional knowledge in accounting and finance.

Kelley has granted me a wealth of information that I can carry with me and which will enable me to make meaningful contributions in a graduate school environment. The accounting and finance courses I have taken give me a good base to receive a higher level of study in accounting and finance. Beyond that, the Integrated Core of Kelley’s curriculum consists of four fundamental classes: Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, and Strategic Management. They have enhanced my knowledge regarding each of these business components, and have provided me with a strong foundation upon which to build as I proceed with my education and career.
