  INTRODUCTION A company’s financial reports give the internal and external stakeholders a true picture of the company’s financial position, which would help the stakeholders to assess about its business performance. We are aware, Financial Reports are important to the internal managers as well because through these financial statements, management can convey it’s business success factors to the parties outside who would like to invest. There are various financial reports, which talk about various financial performances of the company. Financial reporting is nothing but a continuous process of generation of various business financial statements. Financial reports comprise of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, ratio analysis etc. These reports normally convey the financial position of the company, operating results, cash flow situation, shareholders’ equity position in the form of balance sheet etc. In an organization, performance evaluation and estimation of future risk and potential would be done by examining the historical and present financial data through the process of Financial statement analysis.
