Evaluate an existing national marketing campaign-

Fiat 500:

Through the Fiat 500’s marketing campaign that has been broadcasted nationally a number of different strengths and weaknesses can be highlighted from the whole marketing mix. Their marketing campaign has been conducted through the P’s of promotion that they have used. In evaluation to this matter these include through strengths and weaknesses;

Product-

Through the way that Fiat 500 have conducted their promotional campaign through the element of the ‘product directly.’ This matter is based upon the key promotion of the company as this is what is being attracted to by the customers. A strength can be found here through how Fiat 500 have completed this because they have clearly stated throughout the product what the whole idea of a Fiat 500 is. This is that they are an environmentally friendly car and they are also very economical on fuel. But also through each series of car whether it’s not Fiat 500 pop or the Fiat 500 street the organisation have presented what the cars really about through personality. The pop addition is ‘time to get funky’ and the street addition is ‘built for the city’ consequently throw allowing this occurrence is allows customers to be able to chose what would suit them best as an individual. Therefore it is easier for customers to compare and chose which Fiat 500 they want to purchase.

However, a weaknesses here can be found in the fact that underlining this value that has been made to the car through discussing them differently. The only thing that is different is the way that they look. This description could consequently deceive customers as they make feel that their chosen Fiat 500 would be better than the others and represents different things. But they have only done this to create personality upon the 500. Therefore what they could do different would be to create different features to the car to make the customers more suitable to the car.
