Scene 1:

Drew is at the therapist explaining why he is there.

Dr. Mozentosh: So tell me why you’re here?

Drew: Well it all started at dinner with Isabella….

*FLASHBACK*

Drew is out to dinner with Isabella celebrating him coming home from Afghanistan

Drew: Thank you for dinner

Isabella: Smiles. You’re more than worth it.

Isabella: How does it feel to be back home?

Drew: It’s great, I was away from you far too long. He soon hears a glass drop.

Drew soon starts screaming as he gets a flashback.

Drew and Cathy are hiding behind a fallen Jeep. Drew looks at Cathy and signals when they’re going to run. On signal they both dash from behind the Jeep and straight into machine warfare. Drew signals to Cathy a safe zone, away from the shooting. As they’re running towards safety Drew hears a scream and a body thumping to the ground. He turns around and sees Cathy’s lifeless body lying on the ground.

Isabella: Hello??? is anyone there?

Drew runs to Cathy’s body and bends down to see if she’s breathing, but before he can, there is more shooting causing him to duck and cover landing on her lifeless dead body.

Isabella: Drew! Drew! Calm down.

He continues thrashing around after a few minutes he calms down.

Drew starts weeping after his flashback has ended.

Isabella: Are you ok?

Drew shakily nods her head.

Drew: I just had a flashback. She whispers.

Isabella sighs and pulls him into a hug.

Isabella: You need to get some help.

Drew quickly shakes her head and pulls back from Isabella.

Drew: I’m fine! It’s nothing! Leave me alone!!!!!

Isabella: What’s wrong Drew? Why are you acting like this?

Drew turns toward Isabella

Drew: You worked way too hard on dinner for it to be ruined, let’s just forget that happened.

They continue dinner making small talk but Isabella cannot get her mind off of what happened.
