Situation KPG is an M&E consulting firm with 100 staff members (including 70 engineers) in total. The CEO of the firm wants to set up an online library system for managing various documentations such as codes & standards, design guides, product catalogues, and installation manuals. It is assumed that all the engineers would be using (downloading or viewing online) the information on a daily basis. You are an IT consultant recruited by the KPG library and will be responsible for planning the network, supervising its installation, and supporting its operation. Tasks Write a proposal for the network that includes the following 1. The computer configuration (hardware and software) supporting the online library 2. Types of networking equipment and medium to be used to setup a simple network (the intranet) for supporting the online system 3. The operating system that can support the networking functions and those networking functions (on the software side) which will be used for providing the online access within the intranet 4. The LAN technology and network protocols that will be used. Proposal Guidelines  Your proposal should be word processed on A4 plain white paper o Times New Roman 12 point font o Double-line spaced o With pagination (i.e. page number) o Properly justified Have a table of contents if you have a large enough number of sections Provide references to any documents, pamphlets, or web pages that you have used Make sure to have spell check before you hand in the report. Include appropriate diagrams and/or figures to elaborate the design of the system Word length should be between 500-1000 words
