The report I found very interesting was the one about Pepsi-Cola, I found plenty of information about this company I didn’t know, information I would never find out by just buying a Pepsi. Within the target markets of Pepsi-Cola, I found that Pepsi-Cola targets all generations regardless of age, race, religion and sex. The strategy I found astounding was that Pepsi offered scholarships to students who live in poor families and also perform the best in their respective fields of education. Not many companies are willing to give students money for college so that is the most surprising piece of information to me. Who would have thought Pepsi-Cola would organize educational trips and provide useful information about their working conditions and environmental methods, other companies should use these methods more often. It’s amazing that a company so large, with a product that is unhealthy cares so much about education. Maybe they do it to leave a great overall impression on every customer and prove that its more than just soda to them. One undeniable fact is Pepsi-Cola is still good!

Pepsi-Cola is associated closely with Starbucks as well Quaker and other snack based food industries like lays and Doritos. It’s pretty amazing how Pepsi-Cola is sold and marketed in over 190 different countries around the world, and that approximately 52% of its revenues are located here in the states. I knew about one of their promotions which is offered during the summer time and that is the 15% off Dorney Park tickets. Lastly, their social responsibility and contribution is phenomenal. Pepsi-Cola has contributed over $27.9 million dollars to foundations like the United Way, the YMCA and more.
