Executive Summary

By way of introduction, Abraaj Capital is the biggest private equity group in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA) and since its inception in 2002, the company has raised about USD 7 billion and has distributed almost USD 3 billion to its investors. Powered by over 160 employees from 27 nationalities Abraaj network of offices spans across seven countries including Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and operates its head office from Dubai, UAE. Abraaj’s goal is to inspire the high merit of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into all its partner companies by positively impacting the lives of thousands and through environmental preservations. Abraaj believes CSR plays an important role in the economic and social welfare of the region and since 2007 company has funded more than 50 projects. The below report is being prepared using Carroll’s four part model of CSR to describe how the Abraaj Capital contributes towards above strategy.
