Abstract

Quality has been considered one of the most important and competitive factors amongst the construction industry companies during the past two decades. Quality can be defined as meeting the legitimate, tasteful and useful necessities of a task. Necessities may be basic or complex, or they may be expressed regarding the deciding result obliged or as a depiction of what is to be finished. Anyhow, however communicated, quality is acquired if the expressed prerequisites are satisfactory, and if the finished project complies with the necessities. Law characterizes quality as far as expert obligation, a lawful idea that obliges all experts to know their exchange and practice it mindfully. Each planner and engineer who offers his or her ability to proprietors is subject to expert risk laws. Construction quality assured projects are planned to guarantee that the nature of the materials and construction fused in thruway items is acceptable; accordingly, such projects are numerous faceted. The utilization of quality assurance (QA) projects has developed subsequent to the 1960s into what are currently, now and then, second or third era quality assurance (QA) programs [24].

Quality assurance programs in construction play an important role today. Most nations are encouraging the establishment of such programs in construction, however quality programs is expensive and tedious. Construction companies need to invest in these programs effectively to ensure successful application. This paper looks at a review of the concept of quality and quality assurance programs in the construction industry.
