What was the main issue relating to Reconstruction that divided Republicans at the end of the Civil War? If you had been a member of Congress at the time, what type of plan for Reconstruction would you have supported and why?

They thought it would be easy and stress free for them to join in the union. They also thought if they joined it would have less problems in the area. And that it would have been an easy process. And to be honest I would want to be a part of the congress because it was kind of risky and would have been a lot of work I would have to plan out.
