SWOTT Analysis

Automotive Repair shops are trending all over the country. Even with the economic aspect with our economy coming out and growing from a recession there is a stable economic balance. In the automotive repair the demand is a slow increase because individuals would rather pay someone else to fix and work on their car then them trying to fix it. While in the automotive business legal and regular regulations are things all individuals should be aware of because of the consequences that happen if not. Being aware of update car models and legal issues that are happening in the automotive business can help lead my automotive shop in the right direction instead of failing because of not seeing something wasn’t operating properly.

External factors that an automotive repair shops will pay the most attention to would be legal and regulatory, innovation, technological and competitive analysis.

Legal and Regulatory : While just starting a repair business the legal and regulations that one will acquire is probably a daily routine. To stay aware is the biggest concern one can have while starting the business and wanting the repair shop to be successful.

* Strengths- Staying up to date with laws and rules that the company needs to be following is a major way to be successful. Staying ahead of any changes happening helps stay ahead of any competitors in your field of business. Also saves times when someone tries to sue the company.

* Weakness- Even with staying up to date on the legal side of company there will still be some sort of legal problem. A customer could find a problem with their car after being worked on at the shop and want to sue. With having said that the company would have to pay a large sum of money and maybe hurt the business since its just starting out.
