It’s the core values that bank should have common sense;be open and honest;be different and unpretentious;have genuine interest and equal respect for people;and be efficient and persevering.these values and differences are bank’s competitive positioning.

what changes did the bank make to get to its new position?what effect did these changes have?

The way that financial products be delivered changed.there are tangible and intangible changes.

For example,Tools were developed to support solution-based service delivery.the effect is that jyske bank enhances their ability to deliver solution and to reduce administrative tasks and increase the amount of time our people can spend with customers.

Also ,the jyske bank is no longer a good place for any customer meeting its demographic criteria.first the bank charged a slight premium,and targeted only those customers who are less likely to represent a credit risk.second,the bank have a personality. But the effect is that some customers won’t like the jyske bank.

To close gap1 (the listening gap)

(1)The bank is committed to providing individualized service.so the managers assigning each customers a branch employee to serve as primary point of contact.this change is a sufficient relationship focus.

(2)Sufficient communication between contact employees and managers.employees in the bank can be open and honest.they can approach everyone even the CEO.

To close gap2(the service design and standards gap)

(1)Jyske bank redesign its branches as looking “like an advertising agency” or “a smart hotel”.they use modern,upscale materials such as wood,warm colors,and original art to make the customers feel welcomed and relaxed when they are in the branches.then...
