Executive Summary

The purpose of this study is to establish the roles BRICS member states play in the global economy and to ascertain how stable the relationship between these emerging economies and the European businesses is.

Utilising available information from past researches made by economists and students in the globe has made it easy to understand and unpack each country’s current and potential role in the economy particularly the European economy. The goal is to critically analyse the importance of European multi-national companies investing in the BRICS countries and also give recommendations to European multi-nationals in their future trade with these emerging states.
