Who would have thought that a Preschool teacher would ever be a senator the “Mom in tennis Shoes”? Well she did in fact do that in 1993 and has been going strong for the State of Washington until this day. Of course, I am talking about Senator Patty Murray of Bothell, Washington. Her Time as Senator she has been Chairperson of Three different committees including the Veterans’ Affair Committee and is now the ranking member on the Committee On Health, Education, Labor, And Pensions. She is a big advocate for Veterans Affairs and supporting the military and gives funds to veterans voting groups. Serving as a Democrat she supports her party’s’ ideologies and always backs up and opposes the Republican Party if possible but has bipartisan work as well. Over all and most of all she confuses me but I like her way of arguing so let us see the “Mom in tennis shoes” stay around for a little longer.

Sen. Patty Murray has been quite the advocate for Veterans’ Affair being on the committee and having multiple bases in her state it is no surprise. In addition, her father fought in World War II even awarded a purple heart. In 2013 During the Government shutdown, she was an advocate saying “They Not keep veterans hostage to a government Shut-down” (Liberal ….. Ted Cruz). Not surprising her campaign funded Two Veteran voting groups as well which totaled over a measly $160K. During the 2012 Democratic National Convention, she used the military veterans at the end of her speech but had no mention of how Obama had helped Veterans just said he help them. So even using the veterans in any way to support anything she can including her party member during elections or for pressing issues mentioning her father’s WWII service at any time.

Aside For her support of Veterans, she has plenty of Bipartisan work that her party did not and never seems to agree with. As recent as January 21, 2015 she has introduced Bipartisan Legislation and called for fixes of legislation by both parties....
