Introduction

Introduction of My friend Yunfan Zuh:

My cute and good hearted friend name is ‘Yunfan Zuh’ and his English name is ‘Van’. He is 23 years old boy from China. Van has three members in his family, father is Vice President of the ‘Futures Company’ and his mother is an Office Director in the ‘Carton (paper box) company’ in China.

Talking about his Academic career, he is pursuing Master’s in ‘Financial Engineering’ at Stevens institute of technology and the reason he decided to take admission in Master’s program of Stevens Institute is the fellowship he got from the university. About Van’s undergrad studies, he completed his under graduation with ‘Mathematics and Applied Mathematics’ major at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics. Before he came to United States, he was preparing for TOEFL and GRE, which are mandatory exams for applying in any United States university. Along with the preparation for exams, Van did some audit work on Statistics, Econometrics and Finance courses. He also have some experience in doing research and modeling works like delivery problem solving in the carton Company, evaluation of the environment in Zhejiang province and studying the memory pattern of the brain. He did his internship from ‘Futures Company’ of China, in which he worked on algorithm trading, strategy making, parameter optimization and data mining.

Back in China, Van was the vice president of the ‘Magic Enthusiast Association’ and the finance minister of ‘Nunchakus Association’ at his university. Despite of being the president of the associations, he used to perform magic, nunchakus and also plays guitar in the university, which helped him a lot to overcome his stage fear.

Van’s hobbies are watching Japanese animation, playing badminton, swimming, running etc. He also likes to play some music instruments like guitar and nunchakus. Along with the music and sports he also loves to do some card magic tricks. But in Leisure time, he prefers to play Video games and...
