(Joh 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 On behalf of Jesus Saves Mission, we extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to family of the late Madam Goh Hian Lay

 Thank God that that late Madam Goh Hian Lay was taken home to glory in God’s perfect timing.

 We are thankful to God that He has blessed her with long life.

 We want to comfort you all from the word of God.

 John 3:16 is a very familiar verse.

 But it reveals to us three things: Giver, receiver and the gift.

 The giver.

 God is the giver.

 The sad thing is that many do not believe in the existence of God who created heaven and earth and all things.

 They were taught in school that the whole world came through the process of evolution.

 Man is evolved from amoebae.

 They are blinded to the fact that man is not a creature of chance but design.

 The Psalmist tells us that we are wonderfully and fearfully made.

 Others do not know the true and living God.

 They do not know that God is spirit and they should worship Him in spirit and in truth.

 Because their imagination was darkened by sin they started to represent God with the images made like unto men, animals etc. and worship them.

 He is the giver of every good gifts.

 All good things come from God.

 He prepared this earth for man to live.

 God gave rains and sunshine to all men.

 (Act 14:17) Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

 (Act 14:17) 然而为自己未尝不显出证据来,就如常施恩惠,从天降雨,赏赐丰年,叫你们饮食饱足,满心喜乐。」

 He gives to physical and spiritual need of man because He is love.

 Besides providing for our physical needs, God gave to meet man’s greatest need.

 The receiver

 God so loved the world.

 We are the object of His love.

 Why did God so love us?
