Points of view

The evolution of healthcare and the components that create the system are astonishing. You have a group of people that cater to the need of others in a time of desperate situations. Whether it be trauma that would stricken that individual to the emergency room. Or it could be a group of doctors prepping to deliver a precious new life into this world.

Health care fraud is a big issue for the United States. As the agency principally responsible for investigating health care fraud offenses, the FBI estimates total annual health care expenditures in the United States to exceed $3 trillion. (,Health Care Fraud, FBI, http://tinyurl.com/lgqurux (last visited Feb. 25, 2015).) This is an ongoing issue that should be addressed on a more consistent basis. This is a reliable peer reviewed article from the campus library. Due to the supporting citations, this is a credible article.

It is evident that Measles could become an epidemic once again. With proper practice of Universal Precautions amongst people and taking a conscious effort in what we come contact with, this could prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Waiting areas in emergency departments are well-documented sites of amplification of infections in many measles outbreaks because large numbers of patients congregate in proximity and often for long time, resulting in hundreds to thousand contacts. The article on Measles was more persuasive due to the information that was given. The article gave consistent and precise points that catches the readers’ attention and keeps them in tune. There is no legitimate reason that could be given to alter my decision. At the end of the day, one would chose health or money any day.
