'Scream Queens' Star Skyler Samuels Says Her Favorite Memory with the Cast Involves Nick Jonas

Skyler Samuels revealed to New York Post last September that her "Scream Queens" co-star Nick Jonas was her childhood crush, so it wasn't really surprising that one of her most favorite memories on the set of the Fox series involves the 23-year-old singing heartthrob.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, Samuels -- who played Grace Gardner in the recently concluded freshman run of the comedy-horror show -- started to talk about her childhood love for the "Jealous" hitmaker when asked about her favorite memory with the cast.

"I'm definitely not shy of discussing my childhood love of Nick Jonas [who played Boone on the series], I'm not shy about it at all," the 21-year-old actress said. "[But] we haven't talked about it in person, because I kind of chickened out and tried to keep my cool while he was on set. Like [lowers voice], 'Yo Nick, what's up. Cool. Cool.'"

But in reality, the "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" alum said that 12 year old inside of her was actually "doing back flips" whenever Jonas was on set. She said, "I was like, 'Oh my god I'm talking to Nick Jonas!' I was so excited."

Samuels went on to recall a particular scene she had with Jonas, in which she had managed to make the former Disney actor laugh.

"During the 'Ghost Stories' episode when Boone comes back and he dresses like Joaquin Phoenix, [it's] totally crazy," she said. "There's this scene where Keke [Palmer] and I have to tackle him. So, we're trying to pull on his arms and have this fake fight. I was making these crazy sounds like HUAH-HEGH-HUH and he broke out laughing so hard."

She continued, "Nick has a great poker face, it's very hard for him to break. But, he just burst out laughing and I'm so proud I made Nick Jonas laugh. It was like the crowning moment of my middle school life, but much later in life."
