You have requested that the Academic Computing Lab service your personal laptop or personal computing device for access to the UHCL wireless network. Making changes to your computer’s configuration does carry some risk, and you are aware of those risks. UHCL, the Academic Computing Lab and its employees are not responsible for any damage to, loss of property (real or intellectual) or data directly or indirectly resulting from network access or assistance provided by the Academic Computing Lab.

It is your responsibility to make backup copies of your data before requesting any changes be made to your computer’s configuration, network access or troubleshooting. Should you have trouble connecting to other networks after changes made to your configuration, the Academic Computing Lab cannot assist you with those issues.
