Subject: Blood Drive
Have you ever wanted to help hundreds of people just by giving a couple minutes of your time? Our company will be having a volunteer blood drive and anyone can participate in helping the community. Donating blood is one of the most satisfying ways to help others and the results are immediate because those in need receive your donation in local hospitals. Friends, relatives, and neighbors who might be in need can benefit. All that is required is you volunteering a small portion of your work day.
The blood drive will take place on August 8, 2004 in room 316 located in the Administration Building. The event will go from 9:00am and end at 3:00pm so make sure to free time to head over to the blood drive. We will have many medical personnel on site to assist you. Free donuts will be provided for early participants and snacks and beverages will be available after your volunteering.
We will also provide slips that are needed to be signed in order to help in the event. You may also use the slips and give them to others, even outside the company, to let others know about our blood drive. The more people we have at our drive, the more benefits will come to the company and improving our known name in caring for those in need. The slips will be due to me no later than noon on August 5. If you need any additional slips or have any questions or concerns you can reach me at 6-1065. I am open to any exceptions or needs that you may have if you are willing to volunteer. We hope to have a large turnout of employees who are willing to save lives and do what is right.
