PART A: SUMMARY OF ORGANIZATOIN

The resort we have selected for this project is the Georgian Manor Resort and Country Club. It's located in Collingwood, Ontario, two hours outside of Toronto. It’s nestled between the beautiful clean clear waters of the Georgian Bay and Blue Mountain. The Georgian Manor Resort is Canada’s first designated heritage community. The Georgian manor resort is known for it’s beautiful scenery and fun activities. It also is able to host weddings, business retreats and is great for a weekend get away with the family. We chose this resort because it has many great reviews and is not your typical big brand resort.

The Georgian resort offers many things, including over 300 rooms, private suits and family villas and extra amenities such as:

* Indoor and outdoor pool

* Tennis courts

* Childress play ground

* Work out rooms

* Arcade and games facility

* Variety of golf course

* Ballrooms and boardrooms

* Full service Spa

* Also skiing at blue mountain

Dinning at this resort includes a buffet and a sit down restaurant dinner. There are also many activities in and outside of the resort such as shopping, skiing, water sports, and golfing.

PART B: OPERATIONS REPORT

According to Georgian Manor, the annual business operational plan is made to invite anyone and everyone to their resort, to enjoy all the excitement that they bring. They have things to do for all different ages, genders, and repeat customers. Georgian Manor has had plenty of successes and little failures. The Manor, as it is known locally, boasts a handsome inventory of hotel rooms, private member suites and condominiums, indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, a children's playground, a state-of-the-art workout room, an arcade and games facility, a gold green and a spectacular landscape. Their biggest failure has been the décor; it is out dated, musty, and worn out.
