Business Ethics and Corporate Fraud

Introduction:

“There's no such thing as business ethics; there's just ethics. And ethics makes no concessions for the real or imagined necessities of making a profit” (“Inspirational quote”, 2nd item). According to Michael S. Joseph, who is the founder of Edna Josephson Institute of Ethics, there is nothing higher than ethics, and there is no excuse to violate ethics.

Given the importance of business ethics in the field of business and in the whole economy, I have decided to build my research on this substantial topic that concerns many corporations all over in the world more than before, for its numerous advantages. Hence, I strongly support the management strategy of corporations that enforce business ethics in their daily transactions.

Business experts, try to advocate that both corporate current managers and future managers should apply ethics in their workplace for the purpose of achieving optimum results. Therefore, I came up with causes, effects, and solutions as an organizing strategy. This is not only to emphasize the importance of business ethics and the threat of business fraud but also to advocate both managers to undergo business ethics in their positions and governments to enforce business ethics in the workplace.

Corporate fraud is a crucial issue with multiple causes that menace the whole economy. Doubtless corporate fraud is an issue that is principally caused by the fact of violating business ethics. “The field of business ethics is principally focused on steering a corporation toward doing right and away from doing wrong. It is principally normative. The field of business ethics attempts to guide corporations through ethically difficult decisions.” (McKay, D. R., Nitsch, R., & Peters, D. A., 2015, pp.271-272).
