ABSTRACT

The book provides fantastic biblical insights which remind the reader about the integration of worship and evangelism which should occur in each believer’s life. Every day is a day of worship for the Christian as he or she lives out the Christian calling and while seeking to allow others to know of the wonderful experience. The authors show how worship is a lifestyle of loving God or presenting our love to God by the way we live and not by the mere acts of music, praising or a weekly service.

Whaley and Wheeler’s concept of the Great Commission worship is that, “many times in Scripture it appears that while God is always our object of worship, the concept of obtaining salvation appears to be the motivation.1 The author’s stated that “worship is not an event or something we do for God. Rather it is an act of unbridled obedience even when explanations are hard to find! Abraham did not possess a guitar, piano, or any type of musical instrument that we might associate with the idea of worship. All he had to give to God was his full obedience.”2

The author’s try and eliminate common myths about evangelism and worship while communicating through scripture on how evangelism and worship are intermingled. Both evangelism and worship are done through a personal one on one with Christ and worshipping Him.
