Organizational skills are a key factor for an individual to achieve major achievements in his career and therefore are of huge importance to any employee, employer, entrepreneur or manager. For this reason the leadership style is also one of the key organizational skills which are very important for success of a person in his professional life. Leadership is one of the key matrices which are used to review performance of an employee over a period of time and is also accessed during interview sessions or during the hiring process.

Leaders are born and not made and therefore a leader is present in a student from the very beginning. Although the skills could be polished through studies and trainings, leadership comes from within and requires a charismatic personality who leads from the front. To identify a hidden talent there are many tools designed by professionals that helps us in daily lives to identify the leaders. One of those key tools is the Leadership Process Inventory (LPI) which measures the scale on which a person falls and then interprets the result based on calculations performed.

The Leadership Process Inventory is based on extensive research and identifies five different practices which are common in different leadership styles. These practices include challenging the practices, inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, modeling the way, and encouraging the heart (Schermerhorn et al, 2013). These practices change the whole world through implementation and are therefore a measure to identify young leaders.

The scores of personal assessment revealed that I am not a born leader and I am not highly comfortable while having a upper hand over everything. As leaders are pioneers they require changes in the process making it unique and easy to do which creates a completely different method of completing the work.
