MY VACATION TO SHIMLA

As I am from India, there are many places to visit from north to south, west to east. India has a perfect climate for a vacation. I am from the south and the temperature is slightly hot comparatively to the places in the North. Last summer my friends and I were in last semester of my under graduation studies and I was planning to study abroad.  I waited for the perfect moment and planned the trip to a place called Shimla. The climate in Shimla is predominantly cold where it snows and I have never seen hailing in my hometown. I was very excited about it. And we started our journey in the train with backpacks and lot of enthusiasm. As we moved north the temperature got warmer to colder and ended with wearing jackets. The perfect things in Shimla were sightseeing, people and their tradition and food.

When we reached and checked in a hotel I noticed the splendid snow clad mountains, stunningly rich greenery, and the lovely lakes. Shimla welcomed us to make the most of their ageless life experiences. It was our first snow; we were thrilled and filled with joy. We started our days by visiting places like Jakhoo Hill which is the highest peak in the entire hill station offers scenic view of the city and snow-capped Himalayan Mountains, The Ridge which offers spectacular views of the mountain peaks of the land with spacious open space, which was an another famous tourist destination., The Shimla State Museum which was constructed to preserve the cultural richness of the state and to record its rich past, Daranghati Sanctuary, Indian Institute of Advance Study and Annandale. Chadwick Falls, the major attraction of them all. The waterfalls look captivating with dense green forests, with deodar and pine trees fencing the falls. It is the source of water to the forest area in Shimla. The water flows with amazing speed and loved the sight of the waterfalls and finally Kufri for the nature lovers like me.
