The Importance of Being on Time in the Military

The importance of being on time is so that I will be early to wherever I need to be, and to do the job I am required to do. If I am early, I will always have time to make sure everything that my leaders need done is straight and there aren’t any problems in what is required for me to do. It is important to be on time for work because it shows that I am dedicated in the things that I do and it can help me in moving up in my line of work. It is important to be on time in the Army because I am required to be on time, I am required to be accounted for, and if anything was to happen no one can accuse me of anything because I was where I was supposed to be at the right time. Whenever I show up late to something it shows that I have no discipline or respect for anyone else because now everyone has to wait for me to arrive instead of starting on time. If I constantly show up late it ends up becoming a habit and I will always be late for everything. In the military it is especially important to be on time because if I don’t I might have to do a one thousand word essay or get a counseling statement or even end up with an Article 15 because I didn't do what I was supposed to do and wasn’t where I was supposed to be when I was supposed to be there. It is important to be on time because it shows leadership, commitment, loyalty and that I am responsible enough to be trusted without supervision. It is very important to be on time because it is crucial to the mission, my battle buddies, my leadership, and myself as a soldier. It is important to the mission because hard times were made for a reason and if anyone misses the hard time, it endangers the success of the mission. Being on time and even being early has a great effect on the mission and any plan that has been made for that time...
