Nestle is the world’s leading nutrition, health, and wellness company. Nestle was founded in 1866 by Henri Nestle in Vevey, Switzerland, where their headquarters is currently located. The company mission is “Good Food, Good Life.” The strive to provide consumers with the best tasting, most nutritious choices in a wide range of food and beverage categories and eating occasions, from morning to night(). With over $107 million in revenue, Nestle has earned the top spot of the world’s number one company in terms of sales.

Nestlé’s product lines ranges far past its renown chocolate. It includes instant coffee, baby formula, and bottled water to name a few. Nestlé is the world leader in coffee (Nescafé). It also makes coffee for the home-brewing system, Nespresso. The company is one of the world's top bottled water makers, one of the biggest frozen pizza makers, and a key competitor in the pet food business (Purina). Its most well-known global food brands include Buitoni, Maggi, Milkmaid, Carnation, and Kit Kat. The company owns Gerber Products and Jenny Craig. In addition to its own products, Nestlé also owns approximately 30% of cosmetics giant L'Oréal().

I selected Nestle as my company of choice because as a child, I used to always eat the Nestle Crunch bars. They were the only candy bar I would ever eat because I was allergic to peanuts and loved the sound of the crisped rice when I would bite into one. Even today, I still purchase the fun sized bag especially around Christmas time. Therefore, when I saw Nestle as one of the options, I immediately jumped at the opportunity to research the company.
