What is Göbekli Tepe and how does its discovery challenge theories about the relationship between organized religion and the development of complex societies?

The Göbekli Tepe means “Potbelly Hill” or “belly hill”, is an archaeological site at a mountain ridge in the southeastern region of Turkey. It’s a prehistoric site dating back roughly 12,000 years ago. The Göbekli Tepe is a Neolithic sanctuary mainly of circular and oval-shaped structures set on the top of a mountain. The discovery of Göbekli Tepe challenge the theories of the relationship between religion and development societies maybe because of Neolithic revolution. Neolithic religion the origin and consequences the introduction of agriculture, domestication of animals, and a more sedentary life during the later part of the Stone Age. The people of the Tepe use this ruins for religionist practice of the Neolithic religion of local hunter-gatherer groups. It's as if Göbekli Tepe were a house of God and the others nearby places of worship; seeker gatherers may have flown out long separations to meet, love and fabricate new amazing structures, supporting dining experiences to show their riches. The development of a huge sanctuary by a gathering of foragers is proof that composed religion could have preceded the ascent of farming and different parts of progress.
