When evaluating the job opening at Digital Anvil Studios I took it upon myself to learn a little more about the company, and the individual who would be in charge of the employee hiring. From this research I have determined that Rob Lordier is the Team Design Manager the individual who allocates company resources to various projects. Lordier worked extensively for the national government and on a few other projects with Digital Anvil Studios. He has been with the company for some time, and understands how things are supposed to be. From my research I believe that he will skim the documentation to certify that the applicants meet the technical requirements for the job, and then make his decision based on the best qualified person.

Given the rather technical nature of this job I decided to keep the material present on the resume to almost exclusively technical skills and expertise. Stressing my education and computer skills was a top priority due to my shortage of corporate programming experience. I placed my skills section above my education due to the fact that I have not yet graduated from college. I believe that the skills section meets far more of the job requisites than my education.

I stayed with a traditional font and format, because it will be what this employer is looking for. It is a corporate company and professionalism is very important. I believed that a more traditional looking resume would be more appealing to this audience. I worked to have a sense of balance in the resume, something easy on the eyes. These corporate employers look at many resumes everyday, and having a large unbalanced eye sore for a document would defiantly not work in my favor.
