Receiving or not

Xuanyi Liu

In some states, legislators have debated whether teens should be required to maintain a “C” grade average in school before receiving a driver’s license. Some people think it would be good policy, but some don’t agree on it. So make them receive or not? It’s a question.

In my opinion, a teen doesn’t need to maintain a “C” grade average in school before receiving a driver’s license. For one reason, of course some teens aren’t good at studying at school, but they can be good at other things. For example, sports, drawing, cooking, and also driving. If they can’t drive of their scores in school, that’s not fair to them. The US Constitution states that every people have the Bill of Rights, so they have the freedom to drive.

Otherwise, maybe these teens want to be a driver for their work later. They don’t have good scores, but they need to live, they need to get job for living. So they can study driving for surviving, the government needs to give them the chance to live. God make peoples, he gives them their own talent in something. So give these teens a way for living please.

In addition, I think we can’t just treat a people just for his scores, we should also think about other things: for example, his personality. To become a good driver, not only need the driving skills, but also need good personality. For example, he needs to be responsible for himself and others when he is driving.

He is a guy who is a good student at school, but he drunk before driving and caused accidents and died, also his friends in his car were all died. These young lives just left for the boy’s silly action. That’s really sad for himself, his family, his friends’ families, also for all of us. Everybody should think about this accident, the boy was a good student but he didn’t...
