Hey guys
we just had consultation so it looks like the excel is going pretty good the things he told us were:
-Use the historical data for everything, the future data is only for the performance analysis
-We have to purchase all 20 stocks
-You can trade commodities but choose ones that you believe will have high growth
-Use the ASX 200 for the benchmark not the ASX 50
He helped us a bit with how to choose the 5 stocks basically it is whatever you want. For growth he said start with the highest P/E shares and work your way down. So Michael and I found some stocks for you guys to look at. A good starting point is to go to ASPECT-Fina analysis under QUT Library: http://gateway.library.qut.edu.au/login?url=http://www.aspecthuntley.com.au/af/finhome?xtm-licensee=finanalysis
If you go to company Profiles then annual Financials or Price Sens. Measure you should be able to find good information. We just chose the shares in different sectors with the highest P/E ratio and were around when our portfolio started. The share’s everyone gets is:
