HIV and AIDS information sensitivity comparison to other health condition

What is the definition of HIV versus AIDS, this is a world wide epidemic that is rapidly spreading in the United States as well as Internationally. I want to be able to break down the laws as well as the rules and regulation on certain diseases, why certain information is more confidential and sensitive than other common diseases. HIV which is known as (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) which is caused by AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome), this is causing the breakdown or destruction of your CD4 and T cells which HIV causes the destruction of your body and your immune system which will not allow the body to fight off certain diseases or cancer. This disease is very dangerous and can be passed on through infected needles for instance sharing un-sanitized needles, infectious blood, semen or vaginal secretion, which can infect an un-infected person through broken skin or mucous membranes. How this came about is through gay communities. When a person find out that they have this common disease HIV/AIDS, automatically will be discriminated against them because other people feel they will come in contact with the infected person and they may get this disease, which is untrue, it has a break down of how this disease comes about. Another reason is that this is a lifetime disease and they have to have treatment of this disease for the rest of their lives. If this information is disclosed without the patient consent of authorizing this information to get out, the patient can lose his or her job, cancellation of their insurance, they can get evicted from their apartment, house, condo and also can lead up to a lose of co-workers and friends.
