Introduction:

When a company looks to “Consulting 101” for advice we always ask them: “Can you handle the truth?” The same was asked of DHL when they pursued us for advice about their global strategy to gain a greater market share in the USA market. They had several concerns as this would not be the first time they would rebrand themselves, but it would be their last chance for a long time as now they are a German company. To help you understand a little bit about the company and their background we want to take you on a journey through the ups and downs of the logistic market both globally and locally for US as well as the history of DHL. After that we can then have a proper foundation to explain DHL current goals and why we had some advice for them.
