Recommendations for Antivirus Software:

- Symmantec Antivirus w/ Intrusion Detection System

Allowing User Access to Intranet:

- Have all sites connected to main network.

- Mexico City and NY sites will be interconnected so they can feed off each other in the event an installed switch goes down

- Los Angeles will have two servers – one for their ecommerce processing, and one for access to company policies and other objects

- All sites will employ T3 lines

Recommendation on Firewall Upgrade:

- Hardware / Software firewalls.

- Intrusion Detection for Software.

- Firewall hardware connected to server.

Updates to ACL

- Add Domain Controller to each site

- 3 in Los Angeles office due to employee size

Recommendations on Individual Machines:

- Each user will have an individual sign on

- Set up computers to restart after a certain amount of time of inactivity

Add More Security to Webpage:

- Have Cisco WAN systems (switches mostly) added between networks to keep the network out of public access

- Set up separate static IP addresses for the public server, and private server

Fix Issues with Intranet Page:

- Take the WAN systems installed and connect them to the main intranet server.

Fix Issues with Software Updates:

- Have Windows User/Admin Controls be the source for software updates and Antivirus checks

- Symmantec on server can push updates to client machines directly

- SCCM program for pushing application and application updates to machines
