1. Rock On is using two-way communication between them and their audience, and should be doing the same for effective meetings. The way they communicate during this exchange is crucial. When they are in front of their audience they need to be aware of their non-verbal, and possibly their verbal skills as well. When in a different setting, they might upset their audience. If they upset their audience, they will have a short career. During meetings they should be using face to face, as well as keep communication lines open over e-mail, phone, or written, etc. During these communication processes, they better be making sure there are no missed signals or misperceptions. This does not matter whether it is in a meeting or with their audience.

2. Whatever future meetings Rock On might have outside of their stage performances with companies that might mass produce CD’s, or venues, etc. they should use their time appropriately, be aware of their office arrangement, and watch their body language. These are essential to their success and whoever they might be doing business with.

By using their time appropriately the need to show whoever they might have an opportunity to do business with that they are taking it seriously and professionally they should show up to their appointments on time. Rock On should also keep the communication lines open frequently to all parties involved so everyone knows what is going on with one another.

By being aware of their office arrangement, this just means if Rock On is holding the meeting, make the atmosphere conducive to other parties. It is one thing to have a stage presence, but not to make people that you need to do business with fearful of you and where they are at. The atmosphere for a meeting should be friendly, inviting, and a place to do business.
