People are crazy.

That is all.

hough I’m not at all a religious person, hearing a statement like that is somewhat reassuring in that it’s a simply put way of saying that things will be fine. Despite all of the crazinesswe experience on a daily basis, we’ll be OK; today we are taking a break from primaries, debates, caucuses and campaigning to remember just that.

Do you ever wonder why crazy people with loads of issues (or voices in their heads) take jobs where they have to deal with the public? Me too! But the sad fact is that there are way too many people with issues (raise your hand, you know it) who have not dealt with them yet.  Come on, people. It’s 2012 already.  Get your healing on and be nice to each other – especially yourself!

It always goes back to being nice to yourself. If you’re not nice to yourself, it is virtually impossible to be nice to others.

Why do I bring this up?  Did you read my post about Crazy Customer Service? Well, go on then, read it. It’s about a wild response I got after unsubscribing from a newsletter.  Basically the administrator took it way too personally and thought it was a personal attack. Huh?

A friend read it and had the same issues and so did her friend and her friend and his friend and then that other guy.  Here is what she received from the online customer service after unsubscribing from a newsletter:

“This is the last email you will receive from us. We have added you to our “blacklist”, which means that our newsletter system will refuse to send you any other email, without manual intervention by our administrator.”

Again, please read that post I wrote about Crazy Customer Service.

The good news – and I LOVE good news – is that I got an amazing response after my crazy customer service experience.   I hit up everyone I could in the company to let them know I received it and that I actually loved their company, and just wanted their Facebook updates instead of their newsletters.
